Dynamic Women Conference June 1-2

The annual Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference is set for June 1-2 at WinStar World Casino and Resort Convention Center in Thackerville, Okla.
The conference will appear both in-person and virtually.

This year’s conference is themed “Embracing Our Community.” The conference will feature presentations, panel discussions and the announcement of the 2023 Chickasaw Nation Dynamic Woman of the Year.

In October 2006, the Chickasaw Nation Dynamic Woman of the Year Award was established to honor Chickasaw women who have made astounding contributions to the Chickasaw Nation and its citizens. These women serve as role models to other Chickasaw women, inspiring them to continue to enrich their minds and their communities.

They can be leaders in any field, including education, health care, history, arts, cultural advocacy, legal professions, social services and community development. They are forces of empowerment for people of all ages.

In conjunction with the conference, artworks showcasing the “Art of the Chickasaw Woman” will be exhibited at the WinStar Convention Center.

The conference is open to the public at no charge. It can be viewed virtually at Chickasaw.net/DynamicAward.
