2026 Best of Chickasaw Country winners announced

Chickasaw Country, Okla.- The annual Best of Chickasaw Country awards recognize outstanding businesses and events in south-central Oklahoma. The 14th annual “Best of” awards highlight 17 categories of locally owned dining and shopping destinations, hotels and attractions, and entertainment and events that make this Oklahoma region a popular stop for travelers.

“Chickasaw Country is brimming with amazing businesses and events,” said Paige Williams Shepherd, director of tourism for the Chickasaw Nation. “These awards allow us to honor the businesses and events recognized by both locals and visitors as their favorites. The number of nominations and votes this year is a great reminder of how much our locals and visitors support the businesses in south-central Oklahoma.”
At the start of the year, nominations were submitted in 17 categories, which were narrowed down to 88 finalists for voting. More than 38,000 votes were cast to determine this year’s 17 winners.

Best BBQ – Back Door BBQ, Tishomingo

Best Boutique – Kedford Boutique, Tishomingo

Best Casino – The Artesian Casino, Sulphur

Best Coffee Shop – Latté Da Coffee House, Tishomingo

Best Family-Friendly Attraction – Blue River, Tishomingo

Best Festival – Chickasaw Annual Meeting and Festival, Tishomingo

Best Golf Course – Tishomingo Golf Course, Tishomingo

Best Lake – Lake Texoma, Kingston

Best Live Performance Venue – The Doghouse at Ole Red, Tishomingo

Best Lodging – Cedar & Stone Bed and Breakfast, Tishomingo

Best Museum – Chickasaw Bank Museum, Tishomingo

Best Overall Dining – Alejo’s Mexican Grill & Bar, Tishomingo

Best Run or Ride – Stevy’s Run, Tishomingo

Best Wedding Venue – The Wildflower, Tishomingo

Best Winery/Brewery – Old Silo Winery, Tishomingo
