Hall of Fame set for June 21 at Norman Embassy Suites

NORMAN, Okla. - A celebrated storyteller, a renowned art scholar, a legacy wrestling duo and an esteemed jurist make up the Chickasaw Nation Hall of Fame class of 2016.

Induction ceremonies will be 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the banquet begins at 6 p.m.

Governor Bill Anoatubby will induct the new class of honorees.

Lynn Moroney, Margaret Flansburg, Floyd Gerald “Gerry” Brisco, Freddie Joe “Jack” Brisco and George Dixie Colbert will be inducted into the Chickasaw Hall of Fame during the ceremony.

There is no charge to attend, but reservations are required for the event.
