Chickasaw Nation Annual Meeting and Festival Set Sept. 28 - Oct. 6

TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The 2018 Chickasaw Nation Annual Meeting and Festival begins Friday, Sept. 28 and culminates Saturday, Oct.6.

This year marks the 58th Annual Meeting of the Chickasaw Nation and the 30th Annual Chickasaw Festival.

Annual Meeting, highlighted by Gov. Bill Anoatubby’s State of the Nation Address, begins 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at Fletcher Auditorium on the campus of Murray State College in Tishomingo.

Numerous events are planned for the weeklong celebration of Chickasaw heritage and culture. Festivities are scheduled in Tishomingo, Ada, Emet, Kullihoma and Sulphur. Events include Cultural Evening, Southeastern Art Show and Market, Chickasaw Princess Pageant, Annual Meeting, cultural events, entertainment, games, fellowship and more.
